为推动全球木业合法与可持续发展，对应对气候变化和实现联合国可持续发展目标作出积极贡献，澳门贸易投资促进局（IPIM）资助国际热带木材组织（ITTO）在全球木业信息平台以及合法和可持续热带木材供应链等领域开展应用研究。

2022年6月，IPIM资助ITTO开展的“The establishment and operation of the global timber index platform for building legal and sustainable forest products supply chains（简称GTI项目）”、“The collaborative operations of the block-chain-based timber traceability system for building legal and sustainable forest products supply chains（简称BC项目）”两个项目正式启动执行。以上两个项目均由全球绿色供应链（GGSC）秘书处实施并组织开展相关活动。
